Obtaining a Card
A library card is required to check out materials, to use the public computers, and to access online resources.
Residents of Norwalk, rural Warren County, and communities participating in Iowa’s Open Access program may obtain a library card free of charge.  Non-residents may purchase a card for an annual fee of $37.00.

Identification with photo, name, and current address must be provided and an application completed.  Individuals under 14 years of age must have a parent or guardian provide identification and sign the application.

Replacing a Card
A lost or stolen library card must be reported immediately.  Cardholders are responsible for materials checked out prior to notification.

A $2.00 fee is charged to replace a (lost, stolen, or damaged) card.  Outstanding fees must be paid and overdue materials returned before a replacement card is issued.
