Norwalk Easter Public Library Foundation:
Established in 1999, the Norwalk Easter Public Library Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization. The Foundation supports the Norwalk Easter Public Library by raising funds to improve collections, expand programs, and enhance services. The Foundation is overseen by a Board of Directors, all of which are Iowa residents.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors understands that a great library is not possible through public funding alone, that private sector support is integral. Successful fundraising campaigns and private donations have enabled the Foundation to sponsor the library’s annual summer reading program , purchase computer software, and many other worthwhile projects.
While tax dollars keep the lights on, the building open, and materials on the shelves, the library can be so much more. That is what the Foundation does -- it makes a good library a great one -- with your help.

Norwalk Easter Public Library Friends Group
The Friends of the Norwalk Easter Public Library was re-established as a non-profit group in 2011. The Friends are focusing on the following three goals in 2012:
- Increase Friends membership to 25 people
- Increase library advocacy through participation in Friends group, Word-of-Mouth, website and email list
- Help to fund-raise money to get a automatic (handicap) accessible door installed
