About Norwalk Easter Public Library:
We believe a public library is a place for people to come together, feel connected, and engage with others. In today's digital age, Norwalk Easter Public Library is no longer just a place to check out books. We offer a multitude of services to support our growing community. Whether you are looking for recreation, relaxation or information, we can accommodate you with our diverse collection of resources and programs for children as well as adults.
Norwalk Easter Public Library supports lifelong learning and enjoyment in an inclusive, welcoming environment that is a primary community destination. The Library provides equal access to quality information services, materials, and resources to all members of our community.
Library Governance:
The library is a semi-autonomous administrative agency of the City of Norwalk. Seven Trustees, appointed by the Mayor and City Council, set library policy. The Trustees employ the library director and staff who are responsible for the library’s day-to-day operation. The policies adopted by the Board of Trustees are available to the public. The Library Board of Trustees meets at the library the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
